Naya Rivera has reportedly given birth to a baby boy. Gossip Cop is seeking confirmation.
The “Glee” actress and husband Ryan Dorsey reportedly welcomed their newborn last month. Rivera had been documenting her pregnancy on social media, but hasn’t mentioned anything about a special delivery. Her last Instagram and Twitter posts were more than a week ago.
As Gossip Cop reported, Rivera and Dorsey secretly wed in July 2014. The actress announced she was pregnant with their first child this past February. In August, she bared her baby bump in a naked photo shoot.
Rivera told Yahoo! in the accompanying interview, “Being the public eye when you’re pregnant is really, really hard, and people can be so mean on the Internet, it’s insane. Pregnancy is such a beautiful time to me, and I feel like you should embrace your body in whatever stage it’s in.”
Her nude pregnancy shoot came out hours after an expectant Kim Kardashian posted a revealing naked photo of her own, leading to accusations that Rivera was trying to copy the reality star and steal the spotlight. Rivera insisted that wasn’t the case, tweeting, “I chose to share pregnancy photos because I think this is a very beautiful and special time in my life… When you give your photos and an interview to run a story you never get a choice as to when it runs.”
“So trying to make something out of nothing based on stupid assumptions is awful,” she continued. “Such a shame. Especially when it comes to a woman and her beautiful pregnancy journey.” At least according to Us Weekly, that journey has now come to an end. Gossip Cop will have updates.
