The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service announced that small areas of rainfall are expected to occur over the next six to 12 hours.
They said this rain and a high tide at 12:46 pm would make run-off in flood affected areas slow.
The Met Service said flood waters have subsided in some areas and run-off has increased in others.
Low lying areas in Mayaro and Manzanilla are predicted to remain water logged for some time.
