I’ve been running a bit more on the treadmill lately, which I think is really ironic given I rarely used it over one of the coldest & snowiest winters in history. Chris and I have both been busy lately, so at times the treadmill is the only way I can fit a workout in (the kids are old enough to be alone upstairs while I run in the basement). Also, I’ve found I work a lot harder on the treadmill, probably because I want to get off faster.
Normally, I watch T.V. shows on Netflix or Amazon PRIME. It’s really the only time I watch T.V. other than watching Game of Thrones once a week with Chris and sometimes 19 Kids and Counting with Evan. Oh, and sometimes Mad Men, but I can take or leave that show lately. Because of our Game of Thrones obsession that I completely blame on my sister-in-law for buying us the first two seasons for Christmas, we had to get HBO. With HBO, we get HBOGo, which we can watch on the Kindles (or computer or wherever).
Last night I was in a crabby mood so I browsed HBOGo for a comedy. I ended up watching the first part of Pitch Perfect.
My students always talked about and quoted that movie last year, and sang that “cup song”. It’s a pretty dumb movie. I can see why they like it, as it’s that typical humor that preteens enjoy. It’s kind of like Glee in movie form. I must admit it did keep me entertained for my tempo run!
How about you? Do you prefer movies or shows on the treadmill? Have you seen Pitch Perfect?
