IDINA Menzel wants a boyfriend!
The Frozen actress split from husband Taye Diggs last year, and is now ready to move on to a new man.
“Idina has had a busy few months, and has a busy year ahead of her thanks to the success of Frozen, but she feels that the time is right to move on from Taye and find herself new man!” a source said.
“She isn’t planning to get into anything too serious right now — but has asked her friends to put the word out that she’s single and ready to mingle!
“She’s been on a few dates, but is yet to meet anyone she really likes.”
Meanwhile, Menzel is the hot favorite to star in the Wicked movie!
Sources say the star — who won the Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for originating the role of Elphaba in the blockbuster Broadway musical Wicked — has been asked to reprise her role for the silver screen.
Glee star Lea Michele wanted the role, sources say — but because Idina is such hot property after the success of Disney movie Frozen, and is on the top of producers’ most-wanted list.
“Lea thought she’d be a shoo-in for Wicked, but now Idina may get it because she’s hot after singing Frozen‘s hit song.”
