The semi-finals took place on 25th October at Grange Hall, and both companies made it through to the final with flying colours!
Comments from the panel of judges described Fly Dance’s performance of ‘Runaway Baby’ as full of energy, attitude and performance and gave it an ’11 out of 10’, whilst Neon Glee were ‘an absolute pleasure to watch because they embodied the joy of the programme Glee and had great harmonies.’
The finals will be held on Friday 22nd November, where both Fly Dance and Neon Glee are set to follow up their brilliant semi-finals performances with another show stopping number.
Neon Glee and Fly dance are integral parts of the performing arts program at BMC. The companies offer students a chance to gain extra work experience along side the work they do on their courses, and is an excellent opportunity for students to gain insight into what it is like working as part of a professional company in the performing arts industry.
