The good people over at Gossip Cop have gotten word that Sam Clafin is has finally struck a deal to play Finnick Odair in ‘Catching Fire.’ The ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ supporting star has signed on to portray one of the new and vital characters in ‘The Hunger Games’ saga.
As we reported earlier this week, he was the frontrunner in the role that many names have been attached to. At one point Robert Pattinson was allegedly being wooed for the role. A ‘Glee’ cast member also confirmed that he auditioned for the part. Click HERE to see who it is…
Lionsgate has yet to confirm the casting of Finnick, but the studio did confirm that Amanda Plummer has officially nabbed the role of Wiress.
