Ali Stroker is dominating The Glee Project. Last week’s theme was theatricality and Stroker knocked it out of the park.
The episode began with the weekly homework assignment, where the contestants had to perform the song “I Hope I Get It” from the musical A Chorus Line. Stroker belted out her parts in her usual fashion and won a one-on-one mentoring session with Grant Gustin, who plays Sebastian Smythe on Glee.
The contestants were then informed that the week’s music video would be “When I Grow Up” by the Pussycat Dolls, in which the contestants would perform dressed as an eccentric pop icon. Stroker was awarded the honor of playing Katy Perry.
Needless to say our Jersey girl knocked the roll out of the park, adorning a blue wig, candy dress and all. Again, Stroker was named the week’s MVP and cruised easily into the final 7.
Make sure to tune in tomorrow night and watch Stroker climb closer to a starring role on Glee. But for now, check out Stroker performing as Katy Perry.
