Since the concert was announced, I didn’t want to talk about it. Thirty Seconds to Mars was coming to South Africa (again) and I wasn’t going to be able to go because it fell on a special religious night for me.
Worst of all, before checking the date, I got Golden Circle tickets and then had to sell them. Broken hearted, I refused to talk, think about or listen to them, yes, I had great FOMO.
But to my benefit (I hope the boys are okay), they postponed the concert to November 23rd due to a medical problem (seriously boys, be okay). Naturally, I freaked out and went straight on to Computicket and Big Concerts websites to buy those Goldens… Click, click, click, and Computicket and Big Concerts denied me. Apparently there weren’t four Golden Circle tickets left. I checked Gumtree and most of the adverts were ‘wanted’ adverts. I was sad, but got over it, because a few minutes prior to that, I had no hope of going at all.
I went to Computicket the next day AND GOT FOUR GOLDEN CIRCLE TICKETS! How this happened, I am not sure. I’d like to think I was blessed for selling my tickets in the first place.
Nonetheless, here we are, four months away from Golden Circle The Fray, six months away from Golden Circle Thirty Seconds to Mars and seven months away from London and Paris BABY. Can you even imagine, just try and imagine how slow time is going for me right now.
I watched the Do or Die music video last night for the first time, I have been avoiding it due to my excessive FOMO, and I fell in love. The same kind of love I feel for The Closer to the Edge music video. Barth you genius, you.
To summarise, I am crazily excited. Hope I get to be riiiiiight in front.
