Award-winning actress and singer Lea Michele is confirmed to perform a duet with Kristin Chenoweth when Chenoweth is inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame at this year’s Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl, Saturday, June 21, at 8 pm. The two first performed together on the television series “Glee” in 2009, when Chenoweth’s recurring character “April Rhodes” and Michele’s “Rachel Berry” sang “Maybe This Time” from Cabaret.
In addition to her continuing role on “Glee,” Michele released her highly anticipated albumLouder in March of this year. Louder debuted at No. 1 on iTunes and in the top 5 on Billboard charts. This month Michele lends her vocal talents to the animated 3D musical Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, playing the lead role of “Dorothy.” Also in May, Lea released her first book, Brunette Ambition where she shares her experiences and insider tips on beauty, fashion, inner strength and more. The book is part memoir, part how-to and part style guide.
Chenoweth will be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame by actress and comedienneCarol Burnett.
The Go-Go’s and Pink Martini will also be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame that evening.
